5-StarCarRentals was born out of personal experience. When I returned to Rwanda as part of the diaspora, I expected renting a car to be simple and straightforward. Instead, I found it surprisingly difficult — navigating through middlemen and commission agents just to get behind the wheel. It was frustrating, time-consuming, and far from the warm welcome I had imagined.

That’s when I decided to create a better way. Five Star Car Rentals was built to make renting a car in Rwanda seamless, transparent, and stress-free.
